You said “idiot machine” to ChatGPT for saying rolling basslines exist in DnB.

90% of Deep/Minimal DnB has a rolling bass line, often referred to as “rollers”, for reference an example of such a track would be “Skeptical - Blue Eyes VIP” it is very common to have rolling bass line in DnB.

A big part of the UK underground scene since maybe 2010 onwards has been mostly rolling DnB, the mainstream scene maybe not so much as that tends to be Jump Up and Dancefloor.

Kind of agree with this, although to me bass line in most Dn’B tracks are always a bit more rhythmic or syncopated than more common rolling bass lines found in Techno and other genres.

Might be more commonly used in more minimal Dn’B tracks as you suggest, but don’t have much reference in this genre, so just my straight forward thought here :wink:

Always good to refresh myself on rolling basslines they are so popular,
