It’s time for some more Tech Tips and Protoculture’s back to dissect the sound of Fred Again…!

With three albums under his belt ‘Actual Life 1,2 and 3’, a current world tour, and an epic Boiler Room slot still racking up millions of views on YouTube, Fred Again… is on fire at the moment!
Also working with Skrillex, and Swedish House Mafia and writing for George Ezra, Ed Sheeran and Rita Ora, Fred Again… he’s certainly keeping himself busy. Oh… did we mention his neighbour and mentor is Brian Eno?

Over these ten videos Protoculture recreates some of his classic sounds from beats, bass, leads and vocals and finishes off with a live DJ setup to capture his style.

I discovered a great plugin called PaulXstretch, its also CLAP compatible. it will take audio and lets you slow it down considerably, its sounds fantastic when playing in a complex chord from say Noire Felt. I am sure it was a tutorial posted by Polarity that I saw him using it
