Have you ever been to a festival and heard a track (be it progressive house, trance, whathaveyou) and it causes the crowd to go completely nuts due to how massive it sounds?
Then, have you looked up that same track only to find that it is extremely simple, but on a large system it feels like you could hear it around the globe?
Personally I want to know how to get that “big room” sound. I understand the basics of leaving a good amount of air between the sounds, to add some reverb, and not take up the entire spectrum; but that’s about it.
There are many examples of this, though I’m hard-pressed to find specific ones at the moment.
So, as either a full tutorial or even a couple of quick tips: how do you get that “big room” sound?
