I’m thinking about purchasing The Black 76 Limiting Amplifier from br

And I am not sure if I need it and need some advice about it and some advice how to use it. I am currently using live 9 default compresser and I was thinking this compresser could give my tracks a nice colour to the sound.br

The original urie 1176 is on of the most popular vintage comps… Great for vocals and live bass. br
br
I have the UAD versions… I use the silver with blue face one on vox… Really controls dynamics In a warm way while adding a subtle brightness.br
br
The original black face one is a little thicker sounding can be good on drums although sometimes I find it a bit too thick on some stuff.br
br
There are tons of emulations out there some more expensive than others. I would defo recommend trying them to see if you like the sound. It’s a far from versatile comp it really does one thing.
I just bought The Black 76 Limiting Amplifier and it is 50% off till end of the month.br
br
I recommend getting it, sounds good on every thing it seems to bring sound to life.br
