Ok so i’m having a problem with the crossfade, it’s the first time i’ve tried using it. As you can see from the image above, the two waveforms are a little disjointed and i thought that the crossfade would give me the ability to gel them together abit better, however, the crossfade only goes to the grid and doesnt go across the two parts??
Is there a way to fix this??
Roben you are going to kick yourself when you see how easy crossfading is in Live8. Just checkout the Live enhancements video around 4:10
Can’t say I am impressed with the way Live8 deals with crossfading though.
Far too basic for my liking.
Thanks for the video mate
You know what, that bloke dragged it over the other part and all it did was overwrite it with the sound source of the part before?!
No probs man.
Yeah I know what you mean its not the best example of how it works but crossfading in Live8 is crude.
I had acidpro many years ago which imo did a way better job. Quite seamless in fact.
To be honest I don’t use Live’s built in crossfading.
I am quite sure most users could do a better job just by drawing their own envelopes
