The part i hate

is there a certain point when your producing a track you dislike???

i really dont look forward to the fills, like the drum fills, risers and sweeps that sorta thing for some reason.

any1 else feel like this at specific point when their workin on something???

well, there are parts that I prefer, but I really enjoy all the little stuff too. It might suck at first, but it all interests you more as you get better dude.

i think like anything in life you only hate it until you become good at it

For me its starting with a blank page - or arrangement in our case

it may be my weak point thats why i feel that way about it!!!

i dont look forward to it like.

but there is a massive sense of relief and achievement when/if i nail it, lol

I bet there is

I’ve got ADHD so spending more than 5 minutes on one part can drive me insane…

I play Angry Birds in between…it helps

haha, its funny ya say that coz i go over the same part, like, a million times and still be

cool with it !!!

I think Jon is right…I like working really fast, but lack of skills/experience in certain areas slows me down…but like anything else it’s a process

Yeah same as really, i’m pretty impatient and want to get things done quickly. But i do often go over things once it’s all arranged out and tweek and fiddle till i’m happy.

It’s often why i end up getting sick of my tracks because i’ve over heard it.

Best thing to do in that case sometimes is just leave it for a few days and come back to it.

Also from the track i’ve recently all shown you, i wasn’t even sure about it but thought i’d give it a go anyways at the club and showing you guys and have been blown away by the great feedback, it just shows sometimes that even if YOU arn’t feeling something anymore, it’s not to say others wont, just try to remember how you felt when you first heard what you were making, were you feeling it then? Then other people might feel it too…

and just went along.

like the situation with you and your tune roben.

im guessing that experience will tel you when to just stick with !!

like that ‘no speak americano’ tune… a bet the kids that made that never thought it

would have that kind of impact. bet they were just hoping it

was gonna get played here and there, nevermind in every bar in the world !!
