The Right Notes

I posted this in “Get That Sound” without any success, so sense this is the most active part of the forum, I figured I could get some help from you guys. br

The thing is that I’m trying to play a very simple melody from a song, but I don’t feel as if I’ve got the right notes. br
I’ve made a 48 second screen recording on Logic, where I play the song and show the notes that I have. Here’s the link [url]- YouTube

You could try finding out with some good eq-ing and spectrum analyzing.

Sounds Like you have the right notes ok. the backing track might not be just 100% on pitch which might be throwing you off. when you put in your own Bass etc. it should all tie together.

Yeah I think you have it, the original sounds like it has slightly detuned synths.

What do you mean? :slight_smile: Further help with the melody or the song would be VERY appreciated. Here’s the same melody, but it sound different, perhaps detuned somehow? br
