It looks and reminds me a lot of a night called ‘Pussycat’ which is down here, each month they have a different theme for the night, they always have stage performances depending on what the theme is. One time it was brazilian themed so they had Capoeria on stage, another time was Circus themed so they had clown acts, etc.
Fire breathing, fire / glowstick poi, even trapeize!
I used to DJ for them on occasion, but as the night i play/d for is a partnership brand, i wasn’t allowed to do both. I mostly just did club photography for them after that.
It’s pretty cool to have stuff like that going on, keeps things more interesting!

hey Roben !! yeahh that party is similar event what you were talking about. they have themes and stuff . the monkey was kind of sad to see it because it is too loud out there and i imagine the poor animal being stressed. kind of effed up but well those events are fun.
I dont know the club capacity but i know that there was almost 2500.00 people inside . this events are located in Richmond VA USA

I played a gig in a Venyu with a hotel above it. Someone must have left a bath running or a pipe burst or something because all of a sudden a waterfall of water came crashing through the celing, right into the middle of the dancefloor.
That was a disaster gig - at one point the power cable to the mixer came out just enough to cut the sound but stay in the back so it looked like it was plugged in, a drunk guy fell onto the decks and ripped the needle of the record and I accidentally ejected the wrong CDJ after a mix, killing the music again!
On the plus side, I managed to keep the crowd going through it all, which was good.

hahaha that’s happened to me a few times!! Think it happens to us all, very embarrising when it happens, especially when you get the ‘booooo’ & ‘oi oiii’ from the crowd lol.
