Hey i really wanna reccomend everyone goes out and gets this months issue. There is an awesome in the studio with Fred Falke where he makes a track from scratch, its just awesome watching this guy work and he has a really old Yamaha synth that sounds ****in awesome!

Yeah it is the CS80, he has some great hardware compressors as well its just awesome listening to how they effect the sound.
