Thumping kicks!

Something that’s been working for me lately and making my kicks beefier and cutting through the mix more is Sony Oxford Trans Mod. By fiddling with the ratio and overshoot settings you can really transform your kicks. Let me know what you think :slight_smile:

Cubase’s Qudrafuzz

SPL Transient Designer



Not all at the same time but in combinations that work.



Whats the deal with the plugin you mentioned? What is it etc?

I’ll have to check those out too, see if theres any demos about!



I just love the Oxford TransMod – its a transient designer. You can crank it up to quite extreme settings and the built in limiter keeps it sounding crisp! It really got the kicks cutting through the bass.





And Slender – you will care about kicks when I’m kicking you square in the ball bag! :wink:

The spl is better than the sonnox…
