TJR Whats up Suckaz Synth

Hey everyone i am wondering how TJR went about making the synth for the lead in his new track whats up suckaz, I’m pretty sure they use massive to create these sounds not to sure tho, if anyone could help thatd be awesome.br

Lol, I posted this same topic a month or so ago. Haven’t had any luck on here or any other production forum with responses. There’s really no specific way to do it. The trick is getting a vowel sound. Using a filter in band pass mode with a high amount of resonance is key for vowel sounds. Adding a redux before the filter will help pronounce the vowel. Sugar’s Wow Filter in vowel mode is designed for such a sound. You can get really close using any synth with the Wow after the synth. I can’t recommend enough to study vowel/ formant filters. Learn how to use those an you’ll get very close. Sonic Academy offers a tutorial on formant/ vowel filters. TJR killed it with that synth!
