I think this could be very useful for learning the EQ, even if not used in mixing.
It’s in logic but I think 3rd party plugs with this function can be found for other hosts

Izotope Ozone has an eq match feature for one that i think most people here have,theres Elevayta FreEq Boy,BIAS Repli-Q, and RNDigital Freq-ualizer.theres like 2 or 3 more but they arent coming to mind right now.
unfortunately you can’t set Ozone’s match EQ curve to negative values, not sure about other plugs

this is true, Elevayta FreEq Boy is probably the closest one could get to logics match eq that i know of off the top of my head.
