Triblet in progressive house - Deadmau5: "Just This Second

Any hints or maybe a tutorial on how to make progressive house which seems to blend a standard house four to the floor beat with a heavy trilet og even 3/4 melody.

A good example is Deadmau5’s “Right this Second”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NE20AMGN_vs

just use a triplet grid. it’s still 4/4 time, when you’re picking grid for the midi clip, you know like 1/8th, 1/16th, 1/32nd etc etc, there’s a “triplet grid” under them in ableton.

Thanks.

I’m aware of the triplet grid, but it seems to me that there is more to it than that and that a tutorial with this focus could be interesting. Or maybe, I’ve just not figured it out yet, which I guess points to a tutorial again

There is a tutorial on drums check it out.
