you can than run trilian library thru omnisphere
Its good, but its sample based and a CPU hog like none other.
its a cpu hog right enough
at the minute im trying to build a superfat patch in trilian to resample and use in lives sampler
i find it a bit awkward for automation and it doesnt seem to repsond to my midi controller
the sounds out of it are super duper tho
It’s one of the first VSTs I bought, only because I think the bass is the most important part of any track. Like others have said, it can add anywhere from 8-12% on your Ableton-o-meter with a mild patch. You will most likely need to bounce most bass creations out, and once you get used to the envelopes, they can provide some of the most interesting quirks in your sound. I’d get it, but be prepared to spend some time getting used to the workflow. LOTS of stuff is hidden, and getting around the GUI is sometimes a bit of a chore unless your design workflow is pretty solid.
I also think the filters are some of the most sensitive of any VST out there, comparable only to Gladiator 2, as far as synths go at least…
YES. VERY GOOD!!!
I agree though, it eats ALOT of CPU/RAM power as it is a sample based synth.
Has the same audio engine as Omnisphere ‘Steam’ engine… I like the filters & the envelopes are outstanding … what else would you expect from SpectraSonics…
tis a hog but so am I…
