hahaha

Grats :stuck_out_tongue:

See, I really dont care if you speak english or anything, really. I don’t get paid by Sonic Academy. So really, I can choose to do what I wish with my knowledge. I enjoy educating others, but I don’t want to help out others that take take take. Give to others and you shall be rewarded. So what does anyone care if I choose to give it to participating members of the community over others that just take.

If you haven’t gotten it yet… I don’t like leaches. I have no problem teaching anyone anything. But when I teach it to you, be a good person and teach it to someone else.

And I’m sorry, but if you took this tutorial from me, and you did not leave feedback, I will not distribute the next one. The feedback really helps me out for my others that I want to do.

Seems like you’re trying to play god though Howie.  If you don’t want anything in return what does it matter about post count?

The only time I’ve seen receiving with conditions and terms work is when I got married… It’s either all or nothing for everyone else. Howie, I would recommend that if you really have put all this time into it, you either just give it away, or ask SA to post it for you in their tech tips and maybe kick you down something. But it seems like your wanting to provide for SA members only, but not wanting it to be part of SA’s tutorials. I agree on the post count, but I do see how this has been confusing for some others. I noticed that someone in this thread even mentioned that they would just stick with the SA tuts, not realizing what you were really saying… Just my two cents, but it seems like there’s multiple pages here with you upset that you didn’t get the desired result feedback wise, and I have to personally say, internet ppl are lazy. The majority of the ppl that watched your tut probably didn’t even apply the awesome techniques due to ADD and lazyness… People have an incredible need to obtain information, but very few have an incredible need to teach. You either teach because you want ppl to learn, and you don’t care about the cost to you. Or you teach as a business, IE, SA… Hopefully this finds you the right way.

I’m playing God??? Really???

I’m not getting paid to make the tutorial, so I can give the tutorial to who I wish. But do you realize what you are asking? Its super confusing. All I wanted is feedback. I didn’t ask for anything at all. The reason I want to give it to people with a post count above 50, is because I don’t want people that are leaches and take everything from everyone and don’t give back. The people that don’t give back are ungrateful, and many of the higher posting users give back to this community. I’m rewarding those people.

I really don’t understand your problem. Why is this such a big deal?

Don’t rise to it Howie, in the end of the day, who gives a f*ck if some people arn’t happy with your decision, it’s your tutorial, your work, you can do whatever you like with it.

It was going to go on SA, but it didn’t end up going on. Maybe in the future. There were discussions.

I’m not upset. There are many pages of praise and thanks. And a couple bad apples, thats all. And the reason I ask for feedback is so I can present better and see what people like and want to see.

No kidding… But I teach more in text and answering questions then videos. But whatevs. I could care less.

Thanks to the people that were appreciative… You know who you are. The people that aren’t, oh well. I hoped you learned something. Especially not to take things for granted.

Amen… Yeah dude, I know. I could care less. Those people won’t see anything else I make. No biggie to me.

Thanks howie for the tut finally for round to watching it… Now I know what that fold button can do! Nice one

By the way from my point of view I hardly have enough time to make music let alone post on the forum. Works a bitch then I go home to one lol (joke)

look forward to more from you

Thanks dude! I appreciate it.

i agree with you howie, you spent the time on making the tut and in turn you would like feedback so if you decide to make another you can imporve the things you think that need to be

haha bad apples

apart from work, gf, and full time school its hard to find time for the SA forum chatting and when i do get time i like to spend it actually using ableton but i do get some time if I finish my java programs early like right now…  so i guess if you only want the other forum SUPREME BEINGS to see your tuts then congrats but why be so rude about it??

gamelow, are you the reincarnation of inch lo?

also 50 posts are far from supreme being status

cheers,

I have not had the time to check it out proper yet but when i do il be sure to give you my feed back.

Thanks bubble.

And gamelow, I don’t make the names and I usually do my posting while at work. But no worry. I wouldn’t send it your way anyway.
