Hi
I’m on the subscriber plus account and can’t seem to download any videos. I can get the support files fine but not the actual training vids.
I’d like to be able to watch them whilst offline. Is it possible to d/l them?
cheers
No sir. You are only able to stream them. There is no downloading of the videos.
That’s a real shame. I’m staying in a hotel tonight probably without internet access so it would have been good to have had them available offline.
I’m sure its to combat piracy.
I guess so but maybe they can look into encoding them. There’s plenty of services, like the BBC’s iPlayer, that let you download videos and they’re time and drive coded to play on your machine and your machine only for a period of, I think, one month.
however, I dont think they want to take that chance. I cant blame them TBH.
yeah i dont think you can

Doubt it, it’s too easy to download video from the web these days whether a website gives you the option to or not.

There are ways to get the videos, yes. But downloading them, no. I think they are using a Adobe Flash based streaming video system (I might be wrong). However, if this is true, then I think it is virtually impossible to download the videos from the Sonic Academy website.
