***understanding reverb***

WATCH HERE!

In this Ultimate Guide to Reverb, we will show you exactly what you need to know about the different types of reverb, the controls on a reverb unit, applying reverb to your recordings and how to create your own impulse responses. We capture the impulse responses from the amazing Belfast Cathedral and the Sonic building stairwell using both Mac and PC software. We review the Lexicon LXP Native, 2CAudio Aether, Relab LX480 Plugins and look at whats available for free. We’ve also included some great impulse responses for you to use in your own tracks.

hahhahahaha we are like blood sucking vampires…

Now get on with it

Quality videos by the way. the processing have been covered very well so far, hopefully you’ll cover most of the basic day to day processors in this depth at some point along the way.

ok, hangover feeling better… time to eat and get stuck in! Havent used reason for a long time so looking forward to seeing this one… maybe even get some rewiring via ableton on the go and see what I come up with

Just finished watching the Vids… Really good.

The Ableton Reverb being used in the dance track sounded really good. Nice watching someone going through choosing all the levels & settings. Very helpful.

Would love to see a similar Topic - Delays…

with focus on how to get Dub Delays & how to automate them.

& use of different delays within a track, as in to widen… or instead of using a reverb & also in build-ups etc…

Cheers!

yeah,

not fast enough phil!!!

lol

im working on a clone as we speak.

any of you try capturing your own IRs yet? from hardware, software or real spaces.

is good fun and the results are great.

you could actually get a nice little series of these understanding vids going here

hahaha probably seems like that but i’m sure many of us watch them more than just the once. i think i must have watched some of the videos 10 times.

i actually jot things down everytime i watch a new vid

as well as watch it about 10 times lol

I usually watch a couple of times - then make notes and then - experiment

aye definately , gotta experiment havnt ya

ya like, put ya own twist to it, dont ya
