Just had a listen, some nice ideas here, good arrange (although the breakdown is very long), like the acid sound and stab melody. My immediate thoughts are that the bass needs tightening up and the kick, although it sounds good at the start, is not cutting through the mix in the main section, and the stabs are too loud for the rest of the track when it drops so the kick and bass are getting lost. Good track, but needs mixing down again, are you in a small room with a lot of bass resonance?

Yes i am in my bedroom 4meteres * 4 meters so fairly small. br
also one of me speakers overheats in about 2 minutes of turning it on so im having a hard time mixing it as im forced to mix in mono with one speaker (lol @ me).br

Ha Ha, time for some new speakers! I have to do all mine in headphones (due to kids being in bed whenever I’m producing) but I have 3 different pairs, so between them I hope I end up with the right levels in the end!br

I think some stronger side chaining on the bass and other elements may sort it without having to change the kick. (If you haven’t bought Nicky Romero Kickstart I would highly recommend this for £10) br

I would also suggest putting an EQ notch on the kick +2 or 3db at 50hz, and putting the same notch -2 or 3db in the bass, i find this ties them together, especially when using an off beat style bass line.

No not seen that, there’s a discussion on the music tech board about mixing in mono using Avatone Mix Cubes which is interesting. The idea being if it sounds good in mono it will sound amazing in stereo.
