In Ana 2.5.6 (was an issue in earlier versions, too), any time I stop playback in Ableton 12, the Macro 1 knob resets to 0 value. This causes issues when play starts again, but is especially problematic in exporting audio, as the parameter don’t reflect the intended value and, subsequently, the sound. Anyone else know or experience this themselves? Thanks!
You might have a Midi CC assignment to your keyboard Space-bar, try to delete your .settings file and restart your DAW to see if it solves the issue.
On a MAC :
Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Sonic Academy/ANA 2 and delete your ANA 2.settings file
→ This is your User Library, from your Desktop Shift + Cmd + G or Finder Menu–>Go–>Go to Folder… and Copy/Paste the above path.
On a PC :
Navigate to C:/Users/Your_Username/AppData/Roaming/Sonic Academy and delete your ANA 2.settings file
→ The AppDData folder might be hidden by default on Windows, you’ll need to Reveal Hidden Files & Folders
The outlined steps resolved my issue! I saw the midi assignment in the settings file, as you said. Thanks so much!
