I always thought about when I go through some professional sample packs like vengeance or so that my own samples fall apart when I use them together with these. br

these sound much fuller and upfront. seems like they really master their samples with hardware comps and eqs. br

does it make sense in mixing terms to use them anyway?br

or do I have to use the same gear to make them gel togethre with my own sounds?
Try using an eq to help gel them into the mix, I often kill off the frequencies that I don’t like then add a bit of reverb or delay so they don’t sound so dry.br
