Using Quantize / Groove for audio in Logic

hey any one got any hints on using the quantize/groove for audio in logic? i know its easy for midi, but nt as much for logic?

any hints are greatly aprecciated!! cheers

Havent actually used it on Audio yet… but I’ll try & look into it later, as it was something that I was thinking about doing anyway.

One question - Have you read the Manual?

Thats what I’m going to do - I would imagine that its covered in the section about Flex Time & all that stuff? I havent really looked at that section yet tbh… so I dont know how indepth it goes, or even what features it has. I’d say if you look in the Flex Time section you might find out more.

I think theres some Groove stuff in the Audio Editor window… but have never used it. I’m sure with Flex Time that you (possibly) could apply 16c or whatever % to Audio Regions.

I’ve extracted Grooves from Audio in Logic up to now… but never used it the other way around. I was wondering about it the other day. Literally just running out the door now, so if you do find anything during the day Mate - let us know.

You can apply groove quantize to audio in logic 9.  You apply it from the drop down menu in the sample editor.

Sweet - Will look into that later Mate.

Does it have options for 16b/c/d/e etc… or is it one of those Logic Menus that you need an Enigma machine for?
