Are the vocal samples included with the tutorials copyrighted, or are we allowed to use them in our songs as well? Thanks in advance!
Unfortunately not… you cant use any of the musical bits (“the song writing”) in your own COMMERCIAL releases.
You can use them for remixing and sharing on soundcloud etc. but you can sell them.
You can use any of the loops, drums, fx presets etc. in commercial tracks.
So I’m allowed to use the vocal samples, as long as I’m not going to be selling them?

I feel dumb for asking this, but what are the “musical bits”? it sounds like the vocal samples can’t be used, but what about the drum samples? I am going to guess things like melodies and chord progressions are considered “musical bits” but what about basic structure? (i.e. the skeleton, just drums for 16 bars, insert pads for 8 bars, break for 6 bars, that kind of thing.

The Musical bits are really the “song”
we cant give that away as 2 people cant own the same song… would cause all sorts of publishing headaches.
so structure, samples, using the drum programing etc is all OK.
