I am new to Ableton and I am looking for advice on VSTs that give good bang for the buck.
For example, where can I get the Rbass from the “Wave” vst that you used in the Justice bassline lesson?
Hi,
you can check out the waves stuff here Renaissance Bass - Bass Enhancement Plugin | Waves
its pretty expensive stuff.
a good alternative is bbe d82 it has a bass and top end enhancer. $129
BBE Sound - Audio Plug-Ins
There’s quite i few that i use a lot. From a synth point of view I do like the Rob Papen stuff espec Predator and Albino.

also Massive by Native Instruments which is a bit of head melt but when you get your head around it’s great.

for mixing and mastering I’ve recently got into Izotope Ozone.

I’m also a fan of Camel Audio’s Camel Phat, a great filter and lovely Magic EQ function for adding instant bass in you face on any track!
[url]Logic Pro - Apple
two i’m using at the moment are
Major Malfunction - a glitchy effect for mashing up beats, vox, loops and anything you chuck at it

Tal Bassline - a free squelchy bass synth ideal for old school acid sounds

there are some other nice free vsts on that site i linked for the bassline synth worth checking out
Very helpful, thanks a lot guys!
