Can anyone help with this?
I know there is audiowarp with hitpoint detection etc and I get it for for small 4 bar audio drumloops etc but how the hell do you warp a full track for use as a ghost track say?
Surely I dont have to do thw whole track beat by beat?

lock in the first couple beats.
if its not in time at the end. then go back to the first beat - right click and “warp from here straight”
then go to the end - see if its in time. if not match up the beats at the end with the warp markers.
should all be in time by that stage!
check out making music with Ableton live intro and Ableton Live - couple bonus tips at the end explaining warping with ableton live 8
If the track to be warped is not an electronically created track (and I mean some sort of house track), then chances are high you need to warp it from the beginning to the end.
For instance, if you would like to warp a Beatles track, you need to set markers along the entire track.
The latest Deadmau5 hit is quite a lot easier
Sorry Bryan I think you missed the sub title, I can do it in ableton no bother but I was reffering to cubase?
I’m rewireing just now but would be good to know how cubase works for this?
