What Grind my Gears !Grrr

well i wanted to let it out what i was thinking about some of posts i seen here .

first of all i dont want to sound like **** but there is many Kids complaining about how the tutorials didnt sound exactly what they were expecting , or why they dont have a in Depth synthesis tutorials with other synths ( sincerely i think that they dont even know how to use their tools and synths and annoys the crap out of me when they complain SA not making Videos about it ).

all the knowledge is here if you want to learn u will learn because there is so many sources that can help u to understand something that u dont know . if you dont understand a term or confused what a synth does . you probably will need to work and research for yourself , i mean there is so many information on the internet that u can spend all day learning stuff about music .

if you dont know how to work your synth download the manual and experiment , if you dont like one of the videos of SA research the Music structure or the issue and work .DONT BE LAZY !! and study

seems that there is many people who wants everything served in Silver plate.

i was lucky to find this website and very happy that i learned so much in this past 6 months with SA . iam still a noob and i want everyone to understand that if you want to learn something , sometimes u need to step out of the Box .

well i feel better now . please dont take this personal i love you all

Agreed…i still learn every day and ive been doing it five years and still dont know everything about stuff i have to use, things take time, no site can give you a definite guide to make a hit record, i think what this is great at is giving you inspiration and a platform to try new things from and my experience of the net for music since 2005 is that these videos by far the best and by far most practical and up to date there is, i wish i had been able to see these vids when i first started, id have come a long way alot sooner.

I really find it hard to find fault with everything you can access here and in future will be more and more, sometimes we need to support people trying to break the taboos of the closed ‘im not helping you industry’.

sorry to say this mate but its these people that keep sonic going as a business, a small percentage of people will take what they learn and then experiment with it and learn new things by themselves. these are the people that i would call short term users, that maybe after 1 or 2 years will be off and probably only check back into the site when they get stuck. the long term customers for SA are the guys that want exact tutorials and will continue to come back month after month because they learn very little on their own.

there is nothing wrong with either type of user, so the best advice i could give if these people annoy you is either try to show them how to create what they want on just simply don’t take on board what is written in their posts.

What posts are you talking about ?

there isn’t a specific post that i would address it . every month there is post that is asking the same questions over and over again . even do links were provided and other sources of info .

so nothing personal .

I don’t agree buddy, look at me, you, howie and raymondsar, we’ve been visiting this site for years and I definitely wouldn’t class us as your description of ‘long term customers’.

We are long term customers but we do take the time to go off and create our own sounds, methods and systems. Surely you agree?
