What happens to kick2 if I upgrade to kick3

I haven’t found any info on this. If I upgrade from kick2 to kick3.

  1. Are kick2 and 3 separate plugins or will my instances get updated to the new version.
  2. What happens to old projects that have kick2 in them if I upgrade ?

@Perniciator KICK 2 and KICK 3 are 2 separate plugins and can be used side by side in your DAW when installed on the same computer.

KICK 3 won’t replace KICK 2 instances in existing projects, you’ll keep both plugins if you decide to upgrade, you don’t need to surrender your KICK 2 License.

While KICK 3 can’t load KICK 2 Presets, when both plugins are installed on the same computer, KICK 3 will detect your KICK 2 User and DLC ( from presets packs ) presets and prompt you to IMPORT them into KICK 3.

If you plan to upgrade, make sure to be logged into your account holding your KICK 2 License in order to get your KICK 3 Upgrade price when visiting the KICK 3 Product Page.

You can also take a 14 days demo version from the product page.
