got the basics of what I’m looking for done
2 main tracks in arrangement view with my set laid out changing between the 2 track, output via my AK1 into 2 channels on my DJM then looped back in my internal sound card to record via soundforge
a track on ableton to record my mic
So far my x1 is controlling the tempo but I’m gonna look to expand to to include fx’s, samples etc etc just like what the x1 does in traktor
pretty much set up as close to traktor as poss with the exception that the track are laid out already, which is what I wanted, give me more freedom to do other things. I hate session view, arrangement is best.
shame I can’t record the knobs on the djm so I can change and see the automation but will do for now.
Would not wanna use this set up in a club, I’ll stick with traktor, to much prep involved for me but is almost idea for my podcast which is the point!
