What should the next tutorial be

If the next tute was to be a how to sound like…personaly i would like to see a really indepth Breaks tute, along the more “dirtier” side of things with all wack sounds and soundscapes and all that…

Another Genre that hasnt been covered lately at all or recently and is comming up abit in the forums is trance and psytrance…not really my thing but why not do a tute on…

Psychedelic Breaks haha

But to be honest im finding the how to sound like tutes more interesting than helpful these days im not sure why they are great and getting more indepth…just somehting more advanced in the way of arrangement and finisheing touches and more processing tutes for all different circumstances is what i would find the most usefull…

thats it from meee

I demand proportional representation - oh hold on that may give us another con-lib coalition :stuck_out_tongue:

i just really hope sonic do actually cover an updated trancey sound coz the trance tut is

lightyears behind the likes of the techno and prog tut in terms of quality, with the ever-growing class of S.A

so technically it hasnt been covered yet,

i understand when ppl say well the sounds are there just listen, which is easier said than

done for a learner.

so then why do we have HTSL’s then???

in fact, jon,

if you made a poll about what genre people are into,

for example house, trance, hard dance, techno, etc etc

a bet ya house would win hands down. this is why a new trancey tut may even attract

new trance punters for S.A as well!!!

as well as good mixing and synthesis tuts, obviously!!!

maybe it would be best if sonic make an updated trance tut AND a new house tut.

release them at the same time,

jobs a good'n,

everyones happy,

potential new customers!!!

i'll shut up, lol

i’d love another synthesis tutorial.

it would be cool if they went over some new techniques. like glitching sounds.

(unless they already did!)

Synthesis tutorial will be with us in 6-8 weeks!

i would like to see something harder, faster, dirtier something more offensive, something that would scare the hell out of my nan!

hardhouse/hard dance, happy hardcore, acid techno, breaks, psy trance, idm, glitchcore, gabba.

whatever just need a balance

its been done time and time again and house will always come out on top, which is find by me and its fine by all other house fans but the minority don’t get a fair crack of the whip.

i think its time SA covered

Hard-House: although it’s not hugely popular on the forums the small number of guys wanting it have been very patient.

Electro Trance (Randy Kantana) which as well as myself i know many others have asked for (around a year now)

Psy/Goa These are becoming more popular genres

Trance Needs updating or at least finishing

Hip-Hop/RnB Needs either some tech Tips as well as a full tutorial, i think many of us could learn form this genre.

I’ve gotta agree with Jon here, I love House, it’s what I DJ, it’s what I produce, blah de blah.

But there are others that need catering for:

These need doing:

Hard House / Dance HTSL

Psy Trance / Goa HTSL

Urban HTSL

Live Recording & Producing live acts Tuts - possibly Indie &/or Rock HTSL??

and the biggie…

Professional Mixing Tut.

Yeah +1.

Some of those have already been covered, but there are others that really could be done with being added to the ever growing and fantastic 'Understanding' video tutorial series.

I agree with jon. a good harddance/trance tutorial is well needed, and it would also be immense.

for me anyway…
