What type of kick

would i use for a more fidgety/breakbeat type of track ??

im experimenting with this genre and just cant seem to get a kick im satisfied with

I cant really tell you off hand mate… but just a quick suggestion:

Have you tried sampling from a .wav?

Hope some other people/ fans can chip in

Yeah a big phat kick! Lol

As icn’s suggestion Try the isolating kick tutorial

Haha!

Just not one direct from You Tube! :w00t::hehe:

I’ve got some nice kicks & snares from sampling. Doesnt always work out though.

Definitely use YT as a bit of a preview of the start of the track before you buy. You’ll know if you can get a nice clean hit then.

cheers for the help lids ')

Id search google for fidget/electro sample packs then have a listen around and see if theres anything you like. Check out Loopmasters, Sample Magic and mabey Vengeance too i think they have an electro sample pack.

Here is my suggestion. Take your favorite track, and find a clean kick and crop it.

Viola!

You got your kick.

why not just make a kick, that way you can choose how you want every part of it

hahaha its true, sometimes its quicker to make your own than it is to find one and takes less effort than searching through 3000 kicks

i dunno about me. i just prefer to make my own. i have like a bajillion samples.

it comes with that new sample pack... Bajillion samples + 1
