Where you find your music?

Just curious as to where everyone finds their tunes.

Do you just browse around on youtube or from shows or soundcloud or do you have a specific blog or site that you go to check for new releases?

I like songsfortonight.com mainly just the bangin’ section, they post some good stuff from less established artists.

Im just trying to broaden my tastes and curious where you guys go to do that

i use soundcloud alot for freebies then beatport and juno to buy, then various record stores in hollywood for vinyls

Are you a film star and can I have your autograph

As above and facebook - mixcloud and YT also networking

All the new releases are on YT. If you sub to the guys who up the music you like, you’ll get notified of them.

Also getting stuff off blogs, reading the net, resident advisor & charts on beatport.

If you like labels, you can get alerted for new releases… but I dont do that anymore cos I’d like it to be a bit more random.

no but i do a lot of promotion and networking at the various clubs there. I’m up in hollywood almost every weekend.

I think he was hoping you were Brandon Walsh from his favourite TV show

di.fm is really cool! I normally use the app on my phone while driving. I hear lots of good radio shows/podcasts which expose lots of music

For getting old stuff you can’t beat Discogs! That place is costing me a fortune, you can get some bargins but it is really easy to get carried away.
