Economy is down.(Recession).People work 2 or more jobs to survive. No time for forums.
Corporatism & Globalization of poverty (IMF,World Bank,EU regulations & policies imposed on countries to screw wages/jobs/immigration).Some people don’t even have access to internet and computer.
Something to think about…
Poor Kids BBC Part 1 2011
Documentary telling the stories of some of the 3.5 million children living in poverty in the UK. It is one of the worst child poverty rates in the industrialised world, and successive governments continue to struggle to bring it into line. So who are these children, and where are they living? Under-represented, under-nourished and often under the radar, 3.5 million children should be given a voice. And this powerful film does just that.Poor Kids puts the children on centre stage, and they command it with honesty and directness. It’s time for everyone to listen.
who gets the best jobs part 1 (in UK)
It is amasing and frightening how retrograde the UK work experience has become within the past fifty years. Now, with massive differentials between the rich and poor the work place has become elitist. That is now echoed by the massive increases in educational costs. Top jobs like many jobs may require working for free, taking a chance that a job post becomes available. Also freemasons favoritism (they create unfree people). The main problem is that people do not realise what is going on supported by indifferent governments and media.
Impoverished Britain - UK
‘Newtown’ just outside Birmingham is looking dirty, rundown and old. 50 % of its citizens are unemployed, living in grey towerblocks overlooking the urban devastation. The flats are poorly equipped with basic furnishings. All people can do is watch television. As the rich people get richer, the poor get poorer. Chris Pond from the Lay Pay Unit blames poverty and hardship on the Conservative Government’s free market economy and their opt out from the social chapter. A tramp slumped on a bench with dirty blanket at his feet is a potent symbol of the such social deprivation. Loretta Matthews is surviving on £121 a week as a single parent with four children. Sometimes she cannot pay for her electricity and she has to sit in the dark. Or she sorts out her problems by drinking a bottle of brandy. In Newtown itself, iron shutters and boarded up windows have rePlaced the shops. No one has any money to spend. Irene, aged 40, is too afraid to walk on streets in case she gets mugged. Chris Pond feels ashamed to be British and grimaces at the thought that low wages in Britain might undermine the rest of Europe in its attempts to achieve some kind of solidarity.

The Georgia Guidestones - population reduction by elite psychopaths ?
pretty heavy answer there… i think its maybe just people are watching more videos and chatting less.
This describes my one.
Don’t really have a lot of time these days, as suggested earlier. Working 2 jobs, around 50 hours a week, little time to even produce let alone banter on the boards. Shame really.
@ Roben
Its never been the same since you lost your nemesis, Howie lol

I got married had a kid and bought a house. I haven’t layed down a track in Ableton for years.
Just another grown-up that got caught up with life and forgot about his dreams.
Just say it how it is, Its never been the same since i stopped being a mod
LOL@the pink scooter
Well have 4 monthly podcasts played out a bit - snowed under with production work a schedule manager for a techno internet station and off to Germany to get me more gigs - oh and been working full time since April
It’s a shame really as this place was buzzing with people when I first joined. Now there’s nobody online when I drop in. I used to enjoy reading all the banter. I think howie fancied roben really.

A busy forum would surely be better for business though? When I first subscribed the main reason was that I though I had the support of lots of people on the board!

Its weird… We have more paid up users as we had back when howie and jon where about but the forums are quieter.
I think there is a lot less nonsense and more people asking serious questions and wanting proper responses which is what we always wanted.
There was also a problem with forum logins we where unaware of which is now fixed so i guess a lot newer users probably couldnt get on previously.
Personally i prefer it now where its more focused but would be nice to see a few more people interacting.
