Live 8 and Suite 8 come packed with the same Audio Effects–and there are a lot of them. What do they all do? Which ones should I use first? How do they work together? Are there some Audio Effects that are better replaced with third party plugins?
So it looks like people are really interested in EQs.
The more I go through the trance tutorials, the more I get an explanation about these effects. Though I have to say I really learned a lot from the in-depth reverb tutorial. I’d love to see one similar for EQs.
Using LP, HP, BP, and notch filters and comparing plugins like Ableton’s EQ8 and EQ3 to FabFilter’s Pro-Q and Waves, etc.
