Hi again people, again im in need for a little guidance, i am having a discussion with the other engineers in class about which software is the best if you run on a PC either they say that Ableton and some others say Pro Tools 9 is the best, i for one agree with Pro Tools, since i’ve have nothing else but love for it

There is no best for everyone, what works for you is best for you.

Which software is the best doesn’t have an answer, and the answer you will usually get from people is actually to the question “which software do you like to use?”

Which software do I like to use? Ableton.

My guess is you will get the best results using the software you know best. ProTools is great for recording (and pretty much an industry standard in commercial studios), but you can get great results with just about any daw.
