Hi, I’m thinking about becoming a monthly subscriber but most of the videos seem to be geared toward Ableton, which I don’t have. I’m still a production rookie, and am extremely interested in learning how to get that Justice and Daft Punk sound. Can one still watch these tutorials and learn enough to go and use these skills in Reason 4?
Thanks
Anyone? I’m waiting for word on whether there will be more Reason support to make my decision to subscribe or not
Hey Jeku, I used Cubase SX whilst watching the tutorials a lot. It’s pretty simple to watch and follow still but adapt to your particular DAW. Obviously it’s not as easy as you need to be fairly sufficient at using your DAW but otherwise it’s no biggie in the long run as everything is explained well.
Cool, thanks for the reply. I’m really close to buying Ableton but I’m used to Reason’s interface
hey jeku
the idea with our “how to sound like…” and other tutorials that aren’t specifically described as relating to cubase, reason etc etc is that the ideas and theory contained in them will be applicable to all sequencers - even tho they’re delivered mostly in ableton
there are also ideas and learning points in our trance and tech house tutorials that will apply to people using all platforms
we have plans for more cubase, logic and pro-tools tutorials in the coming months
graham who works at sonic is a propellerheads reason expert and will gladly answer any reason related questions in our forums
