At home I have a MAC so no need for PC but at work I have Windows 7.
When i first installed it at work, i will a little scared simply because i do a lot of graphics work etc so I needed to know it was going to be stable etc but so far so good. Its running perfectly PLUS it is cleaner compared to Windows Vista… Vista stinked! Worth the purchase thou!
I have been looking at some soft (can’t remember what it was called - will find out) but it basically dual boots both OSX and Windows 7 when you start your machine up. Then, you simply tap a button the keyboard, the screen spins round and BANG! Your on the other OS. It also supports file transfer (drag and drop) over both OS’s and few other things, looks brilliant and i might purchase.
What’s with the big beef about Vista being so bad compared to 7 blah blah.
I never get all these OS arguments. I’ve used most OS’s to a reasonable degree (most versions of windows, MACOSX, Linux and Unix).
With the exception of command line unkix and HP-UX etc, it’s all the same to me.
One of the first PCs I had at home came with Millenium edition, so say aweful. Didn’t notice any difference with that and XP to be fair. Maybe, if you wanted to nit pick.
I worked as a sys admin for 9 years too, so not like I am computer illiterate, just takes a significant difference for me to think something is better.

Yeah I have it, i’m using 32bit, and the only gripe I have with that is it only allows a maximum of 4GB of RAM, I didn’t realise this at the time, I have 6GB in my machine.
64bit allows for more RAM (the amount depends on what version of W7 you have, ie: Home, Professional, Ultimate, etc) but they are considerably higher.
The only problem with 64bit is a lot of software isn’t compatable, so best bet at the moment is having 32bit. My friend has 64bit and says that the extra bit of RAM performance doesn’t really make up for the compatability issues.

Yeah… Bootcamp is it? or Parallels?[/quote]
Parallels!! Thats the one!!
Looks really good and will come in quite handy to be honest!
My web design work I love doing in Windows, purely because i feel conformable in that environment but then there are some things which i have grown to like in MAC, so its perfect really and i think that the pricing is reasonable for it too.
Mac users love their Macs so much that I think Apple should attach fleshy type inserts into their Macs similar to the Fleshlight, that way Mac users can sex it up every day, they clearly love their Macs that much.
“ohh mac, mac oh yes, maaac, baby your amazing, oooh”

Cool… I like the idea of being totally UN-PC in order to interface successfully with my Mac Pro(stitute).
