Woooooot

WOOOOT!

I finally got all my parts yesterday for my new PC build.

I am running a AMD phenom x6 overclocked to 4.0ghz with 8 gigs of ram.

On my old PC I would run like 10-15 synths and my CPU would flake out and start cracking audio…

it always depended on what synths I used. DCAM synths always did it more than sylenth.

Last night I ran my test. I chose cypher because it always seemed 2 be the most CPU intensive.

1 impulse doing a KICK.

60 fxPansion Cypher synths each with 2 compressors (1 sidechained), limiter, chorus, reverb, eq, and bit crusher.

CPU running at 70%. BOOM! Audio didn’t bat an eye.

So psyched now that I can start digging deeper into productions on this thing.

Now things can start to get interesting!

Enjoy Mate! Sounds ****ing great!!

lol at running 60 fxPansion Cypher - sounds good to me

PC FOR THE WIN!!!

yah the goal was to build a PC for under 800 bucks. I spent $799.99 for the whole thing.

def PC for the win. the equivalent mac would cost about $3500.00 for mac pro.

the only thing i didnt upgrade was the vid card, cause im not worried bout games @ moment.

i just thought it was awesome to be running that many synths at once with no issues.

every time i did a track lately on my old pc, I would get stuck because audio started failing.

gunnna go home this weekend and start something sicK!
