I’m running into an issue with Ableton I’m not sure how to best get around.
Basically, thusfar I’ve been using sends to apply various bits, of a common effect, to my samples. However when building drum racks I can’t seem to find a way to send one sample off to a send.
This basically leads to me using a single channel for every instrument so I have more control over sends which I’m sure isn’t the best way to be doing things.
What’s the cleanest way to handle this, if I want to send just one item in a rack off to an effect that I’ve already setup on a bus? Is there a nice way to do this?
You need to create an fx return chain inside drum racks and send to your fx return track.
