…on a track.
Last week I worked two solid days on my latest track. Now, that’s on top of the days and days of time here and there that I’ve put into it. Those two 12 hour days were just arranging, tweaking transitions, arranging, tweaking - which meant lots and lots of the same 2/4/8 bars repeated over and over again.
I think I’m sick of the track now. I know my missus is. 
There’s a moral in there somewhere.
Happened too me last night - I was chatting to ICN on skype and listening to my remix on loop - fine did not really notice the first 20 mins then i was getting a bit pissed with it after that
But yeah stop if you are getting tired of it - listen too something else - or watch porn - then go back to it

I usually wake up on the floor with my pants around my ankles if i watch porn with my missus shouting at me! Don’t know how this keeps happening…

try mixing in headphones. that helps with the rest of the people in the house. it sucks for lowend, but if it helps keep everybody off my back, then this is my solution for being courteous.
but when YOU actually get sick of your own track, thats another thing entirely…
this happens 2 me all the time. when it does. i switch songs and work on something else.
at any given time im writing 3 songs, so I always have SOMETHING to do.
usually for some reason, i can listen 2 something a billion times and still like it.probably because i eat paint chips. but if I still hate something when I come back to a project, then I start to analyze what I don’t like… and i fix it. just try to do it AFTER you have had a break from the track. its kinda like calming your nerves after u fight with the girl.
