Well mate, if it doesn’t work out with the Missus then rest assured you’re 2nd in line, sorry if that breaks your heart soldier

Im from Northern Ireland (where sonic are based) i posted before to find fellow producers local on this site but no joy! I guess in the only person making beats in this country lol

I play House and Trance. I live in Brighton, originally from Exeter and before that was Torquay in Devon & before that was north Scotland.

Love anything in the House / Techno range as well as pretty much all trance, especially stuff by Sean Tyas, Activa, Simon Patterson, Super8 & Tab, Filo & Peri, Tom Colontonio, and pretty much everything that ever comes out on the Vandit label.

I’ve been producing now since June 2008, i moved from Cubase SX to Ableton Live 7 during Christmas and haven’t looked back.

I’m from the good old city of Nottingham. Really into House & Techno have been for the last few years before that tho I was really into my Trance, not so much now days tho.

Nottingham - Nice. I lived in Sneinton for a while then in the Park

i am mainly into house/minimal/techno .

i have been djing now for about 9 years and producing for 3 years.

i am also a big fan of drumnbass and breaks.

love electronic music so to speek

Greetings from Athens, Greece…

suppose i am your south east connection…haha :stuck_out_tongue:

I use Ableton for about 3 years (since version 6) and in the mid of 90s used to work with Fastracker 2 and rebirth (days of pure trance - eye q recs, platipus, etc) .

I am into deep ethereal electronic house and downtempo music.

cheers

Funky Breaks

Minimal/Tech

There’s no breaks scene out here but I love em’! The minimal scene is through the roof out here though. Its been huge in the warehouse parties for a few years now here. At least a couple parties a weekend to choose from. Other than that, fidget is huge here now, but its some of the most awful kind. Not the bass driven fidget, but the really squelchy high pitch sample driven stuff. I travel a lot though and it seems to be the norm everywhere now(fidget). Really feeling the Format:B style of stuff lately, and some D-Unity when I’m in the mood to step it up. Thats my two cents from LA!

Raymond

Hey everybody.

Chicago, Illinois here. Birthplace of House (don’t let any New Yorker tell you otherwise)

I’ve been DJing for about 10 years, threw raves in the late 90’s in Chicago and have been producing for about a 6 months now after I lost my job when the economy tanked. Now I’m spending my time riding a very steep learning curve in the world of producing music but find I am actually doing quite well at it as my DJ ear serves me pretty well.

I use Ableton 8 for all my work as everybody seems to say that if you don’t play an instrument, then Ableton is for you. So far I think they are correct.

My work tends to gravitate more to prog house, electro, and occasionally some more trancier stuff, but don’t tell any Chicago DJ’s that. I currently enjoy DJing more than producing but am hoping that producing will get me back to DJing in the clubs again around Chicago.

I’m also glad to know I’m not the only Yank on here.

Take care!

Living in the suburbs north of chicago. Grew up a Huge rap fan. My mother liked early 90’s pop house, I thought it was alright. Used to love the house mixes that played on B96 during those days. Got into trance and DnB for a couple years back in highschool. Never fully embraced dance music until recently though. I always found it to be sort of a novelty. Was always a big fan of Daft Punk - I really enjoyed the sutle funkiness they incorporated into their largely chi-house influenced tracks. Great samplers too. Anyways I find the stuff coming out of Italy ( CongOrock, Bloody Beatroots, Crookers) to be real exciting and appealing to my hard hitting, bass heavy, gangster rap roots.

Hi y’all,

Salutare!!! from Romania, been dj-ing for about 3 years and now I started producing some of my own ideas…I began with fruity loops but fell in love with live6 and now 7 and pretty soon 8

I’m more into a trashy pumpin’ funky tech … if you have a big imagination you will understand…

I salute you all

I’m from Blackburn, UK

Produce alsorts really, however the main stuff I produce is (prepare’s for abuse) Bouncy House aka. Scouse House, Donk, NRG etc. I know its one of most disliked forms of dance music from outsiders, but doing this has got me to where i am, and i am fortunate enough to have had tracks signed and had lots of remix work from majors such as Ministry of Sound & All Around The World.

I do also produce UK Hardcore, Hard House, Funky/Electro House, UK Hip-Hop and more in my spare time. I do these for the love of music and nothing more.
