If you ever read youtube comments you’ll know what a forum for hate that they are, but just recently I’ve had a couple that have kinda bugged me.
This morning I see someone added three separate comments to a video tut I did. OK it might not have been the best tutorial ever, but he basically called me an idiot and the claimed what I did was a ‘FAIL’ (and then an EPIC FAIL)!!
Even though I know it’s probably some d1ckhead 15 year old kid in his ‘moms’ basement, still hard not to take it a little personal.

Should I contact him and have a go/word delete them or just forget about it? I know it’s really petty, and I don’t mind if people don’t like what I do… but just plane old insulting and unhelpful gets on my t1ts!!

Most of the time peeps who rip into others efforts dont have a clue and just want some kind of reaction delete his posts man !! :)
Yeah, it’s not just my frail ego though, I think the same when I see it on other videos.
One thing is thinking your good when clearly you’re not, but when sharing tips and ideas and people are like ‘you suck’ I think ‘wow, how unhelpful!’
Once I posted a video from Glastonbury of Kasabian, and I put the wrong song title by mistake, and someone commented “FAKE!!!”
Total dullards, maybe there should be like a IQ question before the comment is posted, like a Captcha for morons?

Youtube is just a cess pool of dumb asses deliberatley trying to wind each other up. Most of the time it seems to work.
Delete them and if you can, ban him from commenting again.
Don’t take it personally, I consider this kind of person to be like idiot teenagers down the park who swear at people - I’d never take any of their crap personally.

The spellings are usually awful. Especially amongst the Hip-Hoppers :w00t:
Don’t let it bother you mate, you get people like it ALL the time. More often than not they’re frustrated teenagers who are bullied at school, the only way they can vent frustration and anger is to abuse people in the safety of their own home.
Thing is, doesn’t matter how good you are, or how good the video is, you’ll always get a hater.
Check out peoples videos like James Zabelia etc, even with their sh*t hot videos there are still haters and people who ‘think they know better’. Like we all know how good of a producer Deadmau5 is technically, ok we may not all like his music, but as a producer you can’t fault him, yet you’ll still get people commenting on him saying he’s crap producer etc.
It’s all BS mate, ignore it. You’ll get it A LOT more anyways if / when you become more recognised with your music. Comes with the job.
