Hello again people of sonicacademy. Spent a good month working on this new track and I’d like you to have a listen. Please critique if you can think of any improvements. interesting track, could do with a phat kick driving it along i think

Thanks ekko for the feedback. Am definately going to go back in and add a good kick now, don’t know why I didn’t think of this myself :slight_smile:

Okay replaced the old track with the updated one so the link up the top will play the new version. I also removed that fade out. Don’t know why I thought it would sound good? I now know why fade outs are long dead.

mate I think you should make this into a breakbeat track, get the bass muchos fatter with a weighted kick and snappy attacky snare… this would give the tune plenty more drive/pace and energy…

I like my progressive tracks, I’d change the trancy gated synth towards the end for something a little more subtle, like from a prdyz track and you’ll be on the money :slight_smile:

of course you may not even want to go for this sound, it’s just what I’d like to hear!
