But HBO has a whole show called Big Love on Utah, Mormons & Polygamy (ie more than 1 wife…)
Anybody heard of it?
Ahh but the house would be spotless and you could send four off too work and retire early
Yeah heard of it but never bothered watching it - though the wives look pretty hot if not a little bit of a handfull

yah thats what a lot of em do. there is this 1 guy in Utah that has like 100 wives and like 300 kids.
its like having a fanatical army all fighting over ur junk & attention.
slender (23/12/2010)
Yeah heard of it but never bothered watching it - though the wives look pretty hot if not a little bit of a handfull
yah they are all pretty wild. i watched the first 2 seasons, but i lost interest after a while.
lol but everytime I watch it I can’t not think about the Scene in Aliens with Bill Paxton.
GAME OVER MAN! GAME OVER!
Not seen or heard of it, to be honest going from that picture, if you’re allowed multiple wives you’d at least make sure ONE of them was hot?? Not just settle for whoever you can get lol.
100 wives - now thats just plain greedy - hope he’s good with names
You’d be a sore man trying to satisfy them every night.
So what do people in those states where alcohol is illegal do for fun?
Clubbing in those areas must be… ‘interesting’

I not sure booze is illegal anywhere in the states anymore - Prohibition was durring 1920 to 1933 which led to a massive increase in organised crime, becaise everyone was drinking - not sure if its come out here but Broadwalk Empire is one off the better US TV series that came out this Autumn which portrays the period - and don’t ask me how I know

your questions are quite funny Roben!!!
There are no states where alcohol is illegal. If anything there may be counties in a state that have laws that prevent the sell of hard liquor these counties are called “dry counties” which means they serve mainly beer and wine. Mainly done in the southern states which are referred to as the"bible belt"
Robs next Thread will be “How do people in Australia not float off into the sky?”
Roben (23/12/2010)
Christ was using the technology that was available at his time though?
Surely if Christ was here today, he’d also use the technology of todays times?
Just common sense?
Perhaps i’ll stop questioning peoples faiths… I don’t want to offend anyone.
the guy that nailed christ to the cross was using technology but you have to draw the line somewhere lol.
I think the same with the amish people, they have set some rules a guide line’s to live by like any community and they live by them. Breaking the rules result in a punishment.
I mean we for instance can hunt animals for food and skins but we have rules that say we can’t do that to another man, both are murder but only one is punishable much in the same way that to amish a mobile phone and a wheel are both technology but only one holds a punishment for its use.
we all live by rules and those that don’t get punished in one way or another, its the not excepting of others rules that have caused many wars over the years.
Back to the Mormons for a second.
Sorry to break your guys hopes, but by law the Mormons are not allowed to have more than one wife in the US anymore.
Also, a dry town, such as Pitman, NJ and Ocean City, NJ do not have any bars/ liquor stores and are not allowed to even serve beer and wine. Dry towns only allow for the consumption of alcohol. So everytime we go to Ocean City we have to bring our own alcohol. Same thing if you go to eat at a restaurant in the town. They can’t serve alcohol, but they allow you to bring your own. They are still required to have a beer and wine license to allow this though.
Back to what I was talking about for a milisecond…
