CLR / Dark Techno Production Thread

nice stuff again Jamie, handy techniques… I’m curious about the next part

Nice work Jamie, it’s amazing how many different ideas go through one’s head watching other producer’s work.

Many thank’s for taking the time to share your production techniques

I’ll buy you a beer at Slender’s first gig :stuck_out_tongue:

Good work again Jamie. Nice little tutorial there

Thanks guys! Glad everyone likes!

OK guys…

Going forward I am going to make the videos I produce for this thread available to members of the Sonic Academy website only. YouTube posts mean anybody can watch unless they are private, and I’m really doing these for the community here. It isn’t really fair for all of us here to work hard and contribute while others can just get the tips and tricks for free.

So if you are interested in seeing the follow-ups to the previous examples, PM me your email address through here and I will put you on the private roster for access to the video.

Considering Phil and Bryan are kind enough to watch us do this without getting involved and maybe even shutting us down, I think it is only fair that we repay them by having new people sign up and maybe even buy a membership to get access to what we are doing in this thread. Agreed?

Whether you are a veteran, a relative newbie like myself, or if you signed up 5 minutes ago, PM me your main email address and you’ll have access…

Jamie

Sweet! Sensible idea Jamie.

We’ve got some stuff coming up from Slender (dont we? :stuck_out_tongue: ), Mussi (dont we? :stuck_out_tongue: ) & Vibes (For sure now Mate!  ) - so really the more the merrier!

It would be cool to keep up the contributions from everyone, even if its just a few words / discription of settings /  a pic / or a preset - whatever… Its incredible watching how everyone else works.

We’re fkn lucky here to be getting several different perspectives and thats down to the fact that its coming from different sources. If more people contribute - its gonna be a much richer experience for all.

Gawd ICN you sound like my ex :stuck_out_tongue:

[hr]

You’re a cnut…

How did that sound?

Brings back happy memories - just need the sound of smashing plates being thrown at me to complete the ambiance

Small colourless nose & no wool, eh?!

For those who sent emails, the “Percussion sounds” video is available. Check your email for the link.

You might have to wait a few moments for the HD version, but it’s there. Give me about 30 minutes and the Kick tutorial will be there as well.

Edit: Looks to be more like an hour from here on out for the kick video…(13 minutes long and HD)

i Still cant watch it :frowning:

What happened? Does it require a YouTube account or something? It said an email address would suffice.

Edit: OK, so I guess you’d need to have a YouTube account with the email address you gave me. Then the link will work when you log in.
