How To Make - How To Sound Like Delta Heavy / 1542

Yes you’re right, this has now been added to the course resources downloads :+1:

Hope this helps !

Cheers :sunglasses:

That’s great! Thanks for letting me know. I really like Haterade. I do all his tutorials. I like all the cutting edge stuff he’s been doing. I also enjoy when he occasionally does the Marshmellow and Weekend commercial stuff. He is versatile.

Thanks for the update!

my copy of ana 2 does not have the cosmic pluck preset, what do I do?

Welcome to the forums ! :sunglasses:

The “Cosmic Pluck” preset is part of expansion Preset Pack Vol.1

You’ll find this here on the website : ANA 2 Presets Vol. 1 - Pop and Future House

how do you get the notes of the drop bass to pulse? that isn’t explained in the video, the midi that comes is just long notes

Not sure if this is what you’re after ( helps if you point a video number/title ) but if you check Tutorial 06 - Drop Part 1 from around 16:10 time, there’ an Arpeggiator Device added inside Live and the OSC 1 as well as the GENV for ANA 2 need to be set to RETRIG.

Hey sorry I was talking about the drop part 1 video. I mean the pulsing of the notes of the square bass. In the midi file it is just one long note but in your video it seems as if it’s being volume ducked or something in a specific pattern

Isn’t it about the part I already mentioned in previous post ?

Could you please point an exact Time Frame in the video if I’m missing your point, thanks

Cosmic pluck is not a factory preset for Ana 2.5

@Digitaldawn check Post 14 in this topic

Great tutorial thanks.

just a question as i got a bit confused what you were doing on Tutorial 10 at 15:39 mins with adding two EQs onto the imager.

Why not use 1 EQ with a low Q setting but i’m probably missing the idea behind it.

Thanks in advance.

EQs are used as filters in this case.

The 2 EQs are placed in the same chain to act as a frequency splitter before the signal is sent to Ozone Imager. So instead of sending the all signal and all frequency bands for stereo spread with Imager, you’re sending the lower frequency range and the higher frequency range separately to Imager, giving you more control about how much of the low end & the top end you’re spreading into stereo based on a cross over point you can adjust ( thus the automation of both EQ High pass and low pass filter ).

Thanks for the reply, Very helpful in regards to the 2 EQ going to imager.

Excellent walking through the process!
The voice of the presenter versus music is way too low (12 dB) and I have to constantly adjust my monitor controller and that’s a pity coming from a audio production course…
