As I stated before in my previous post I agree 100% with raymondsar. I dont understand how everyone can be so content or satisfied with what their hard earned money is getting them. $90 is a pretty substantial chunk of change, and if you think about it, what has it really gotten you. A few tutorials that are mediocre at best. As stated before it seems like these were thrown together in about half a day with no real emphasis on things that I feel make a tutorial “good”. Things like creating a polished, full track from start to finish. This includes background atmospheres, fx, effects, automation, mastering etc etc until the final product is done. Thus far we have gotten tracks that are more or less one min loops. I dont care what business you run, to throw out a product like that once every month is pretty half ***. It just doesnt make sense to me how it takes a month to put together a tutorial of the caliber we have seen. If it is going to take a month it damn well better be top notch and thus far they have been anything but that. I feel they should either pump out these 1 min loop tut things once a week, or if its going to take them this long they should be spot on. I would almost prefer to have spot on tutorials once every two weeks as I dont think that is asking for much at all. Not like voicing an opinion matters anyway. It seems that the mods barely even log on to check the boards and what the SA community has to say anyway.
I don’t really see why I shouldn’t use NSB as an example, my statement about it is perfectly valid. I’ve had help over there and not paid a cent. Congratulations on your DJing/Producer sucess - by the way, it’s pretty obvious you are trying to brag/float your own boat. You have essentially told everyone you’re better than them by calling the majority ‘morons’ then proceeded to tell everyone your amazing DJing conquests! Don’t get me wrong, it’s impressive you’ve DJ’d across the world but it comes across really arrogant and doesn’t really serve to prove any point . Most people on here are just trying to enjoy the forums in their own way, why do you feel the need to upset that?
I say we should keep this thread on topic really. If you’ve got 113 emails I’d say that’s MORE than enough ammo to go hit up the SA head honchos with a request to pull their finger out and release some vids. You’re not going to hear any arguments from me about them releasing more stuff.

When u are such a profilic dj and u are on the road worldwide for 15 years now, than i think 90Euros are not as much a problem as u do – or are u so cheap and u travel for free to your gigs ;) ?
I know what u mean – I am also checking the site for new videos and stuff every single day but I think its not fair to complain as much as u do because the guys really make a great job.
I mean in my opinion it was worth the money with the videos I have seen so far… I really learned a lot and I have also a release and upcoming singles under my belt . so I am not a newby if u mean that.
I pick up every knowledge where I can because I think electronic music is really a lot about new technologies and things how u can be creative in different ways and I have been producing now for 3 years – I really learned a lot meanwhile and searched nearly every forum on the net for tipps and tricks and I also read the future music and computer music magazines which I think are just amazing – without them I would not be able to come up with tracks as I do for now. (I am a lucky guy that I found those magazines because here in Austria/Tirol it knows nobody about that)
I only want to say that I really know those ever free tutorials and youtube and so but they are all definitely CRAP in comparison to those in depth tutorials here.
Its def. a point of view from each person – but I am lucky to got those all important little hints as I got from the vids here …
But its over a month now since the last videos so come on guys I am also sucking for fresh blood !

If I may just add one last thing though - ranmondsar, you’re obviously not happy here, have you considered asking them for a refund of your money? They seem like nice enough people and it might be worth a try.

I am most disapointed with the support on this site. I do not ever get replies for problems I have. Also I am looking to learn a few specific genres hopefully I can learn them before my membership runs out in like 9 months. Also my computer crashed a while back. I figured I could just download the Ableton Production files again but I still cannot download them after emailing support several times. Hey could anyone please email me them or something if you have them.

Its funny to see how long this rant has been going on, and no Mod from the site has chimed in. It just goes to show how much they care about the voice of their members, or how much they really do “Moderate” the site.
