I am going to take some music with me and try and muscle a DJ set. My friend is playing Space on Sunday and I know a lot of the Space people will be at his party. The chances of me getting to play at Space are about

Yeah, I love Space - although it has changed more into a nightclub rather than the day club it used to be. But things change.
Pikes hotel is now called Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel, my friend DJs at Ibiza rocks as well as Space, so I think that is why the party is there. Should be fun.
And I will go to DC10 to see what that is like now. I used to love DC10, but the last time we were there I got my wallet snatched and my wife had her phone stolen. We confronted the people that did it, but we were quickly out numbered and had to make a tactical retreat.
I hear that someone was held up by knifepoint the other day. I like edgy, but that is taking it too far…

I think you would quite like her. She is trying to bring down Murdock tonight because of the phone hacking. She has had Sky news and BBC news on the phone for interviews and she has an opinon piece on the Guardian online tomorrow

I am back from Ibiza and I am a bit broken. This is some of what I have learned.
1. Never fly on Monarch, no matter how cheap they are - it was delayed on the way out because two people were too waisted to get on the plane and they had to go find them. People whooped not only when we landed (which is really ****in lame) but when we started taxiing before take off!
2. Drinks are expensive - actually I already knew this. In Space beer is 15euro a bottle, cola is 7euros. No great shock there, but a glass with just ice in is 10euros! I think the reason for this is to stop people doing what we did, ie have bottles of gin and tonic in the DJ changing room!
3. You are allowed, even encouraged, to jump off the roof at Pikes Hotel into the swimming pool.
4. The CDJ2000 is the sh!t. I really want two now.
5. In Space you can hear the difference between MP3 320 and Wavs. All the DJs there play Wavs because they have to push the bass on MP3s and they still sound sh!t.
Ahh… the post Ibiza brag/gloat post. Reminds me of Roben’s classic last year or whenever it was.
Definitely not jealous. I hate Ibiza.
