Roben (22/11/2010)
wooooo oooo oooo oooo ooooo BARBRA STREISAND
you know what really amazes me about armin van helden? and A-trak? They blatantly ripped this off!!!

Then there’s always this too, Roben.
Sorry to hijack but hey this topic has been going down the pan since the beginning!!

They did the same with their last single and this song:
Not that uncommon. Its just that people assume its original, and get all upset when they realise its a reworking.
Even though the general population have got hold of Barabra Streisand/Duck Sauce, I can’t stay mad at that tune, it’s so chirpy and fonky.
I suppose sometimes the tracks selection and how they re-work it can be admired but the boney m track has hardly been changed to make BARBRA STREISAND!
They’ve not denied it though and I thought everyone already knew this was a rework?
Thing is, so what if they’re re-working an old 70s tune, it’s working and people are loving it!
They’re not the only producers to re-work old tunes, look at Funkagenda & Mark Knight with ‘Man with the red Face’ for just one mere example.
In fact me and Amrick are re-doing a 70s tune, he’s got the perfect vocals for it. It’s such a gem though that you wouldn’t know it, i had to get the rare vinyl imported from the states
Speaking of which… i should really start getting to work on that soon lol.
It seems like no one can be original nemore everything seems to be xxxxxxxxx 2010 mix and classics just get re hashed plus everyone is ripping off everyone and its all just one un original mess. I suppose the saying is true though classics never die and i really like barbara streisand lol, the ducksauce tune that is not the female singer that pays for her husbands gamblint addiction oh and i guess shes not a bad singer either… Lol!
Another great example Steve Angello -Knas. Lol even though i really like this tune i just feel really dissapointed in Steve especially after giviving us 1 third of an awesome track like One. Anyone who says well yeah but steve took a sample and made a track of it etc blah blah really can sit and zwivvle! If you listen to the samples and loops he used any retard could of made Knas, lol it really is a joke how little was done and tbh on discogs it shouldnt be Steve Angello - Knas written produced etc by Steve Angello it should be Steve Angello - Knas written, produced etc by Manuel Schleiss thrown together in a DAW by Steve Angello.
J.HiZ (22/11/2010)
weren’t we talking about mainroom house?
A HOUSE THREAD TALKING ABOUT TECHNO…LOVE IT
jjdejong0 it’s because he knows that it will sell just based on his name. I bet it wouldn’t have even come close to a 100th of the success had you or I made the same track.
