Couldn’t resist an old classic line from THE WARRIORS.

How the F*ck do you post you tube videos properly ?

Sid you need to use the old embedding code - there is a check box at the bottom - oh you should also post some of your old favourite tracks in the this thread

.Keys

Heres a couple of Pic’s from a folder on my desktop  :hehe: Nah… not that sort…

I have a couple of screenshots of the notes in the Keys that I normally stick to. Saves me searching all the time, double checking etc…  Handy just to have on the desktop to open up as & when.

If you know it already - Cool!

But if you are like me (someone who needs it), hope you find a use for it

Not every key is in it - Its just Am, Em, and G / G# m.

Came across this old interview with Future Shock, some of the Detroit fans may find it intresting.

Daren Love n BaD WoLF - Higher (mp3 clip) by Daren LOve n BaD WoLF

Good to see ya Darren! What sort of Tech are you into Mate?

Wave Alchemy - Drum Tooms 01

http://www.wavealchemy.co.uk/drum_tools_01_-_minimal_techno/pid58

Wave Alchemy - Drum Machines 02 (Really good 808 & 909 stuff… you can buy each seperately, check out everything on the site).

http://www.wavealchemy.co.uk/drum_machines_02/pid64

Goldbaby - Tape 808 & 909 (Extensive samples of both machines)

http://www.soundstosample.com/producer/Goldbaby/42

Check out Sounds to Sample too

http://www.soundstosample.com/

You can search by genre & they have demo packs. Theres also a chart that you can look at to see whats popular… it’ll give you an idea of whats out there.

Depending on what you are looking for, Sample Magic have done some Deep house & Tribal/Techno /Minimal Techno packs:

http://www.samplemagic.com/products.html

as have Loopmasters:

http://www.loopmasters.com/

You can search by genre on their w.site too.

You’ll see many artists have done packs… such as Deadmau5 (Xfer), Steve Lawler, Dave the Drummer, Florian Meindl, Martin Eyerer, Format B (Reimann on S2S)… to name but a few. Depends what type of tech you are looking for. Its all there. Dark to funky

Listen to the demos before you buy. But you’ll probably need a good stock of 808/909 stuff regardless, so Wave Alchemy & Goldbaby are excellent places to start - No loops though.

If you are looking for Loops… there are lots of packs from Vengeance - essential house, minimal house & all that stuff. Mutekki Media, Sounds of Revolution, Best Service.

Best Service - K-Size - Tech House Beats, Minimal, Fx, No Kick edition: All have got great reviews.

http://www.soundstosample.com/all-products/producer/Best_Service/3

Thats just a few… I’m sure other people will fill in the gaps… theres a lot of stuff out there!

Hi daren, have you tried http://www.acapellas4u.co.uk/download_list.php for some vocal samples.

I find if you do a google search on WHO SAMPLED WHO you can find the name of certain tracks to give you ideas for what acapellas to search for.

I know you dont want to use over used samples but if its any kind of tech you can do all sorts to change the original.

Nice track ma man, you certainly know how to get a groove going.

Loved the cutting in through the mix, sounds like you have come from a DJ background.

Hope you keep in touch at Sonic Academy, there’s a nice vibe going on here with a quality bunch of guys that are happy to share their knowledge.
