Anyone using Maschine?
With the Mikro release I had a weak moment and ordered the full fat version and itās on its way.
Wondered if anyone is using one in their productions?

Rad Slender!
Will be cool to share tips as we are learning the beast!
I use maschine for my drum patterns. really really useful tool that just sparks creativity.

I have my maschine and it is awesome!
Why do you people like maschine so muchā¦ I have one standing here for several weeks, on loan from a friend but i hardly use itā¦
Please give me some pointers on something why and/or how i should use itā¦
Thanks
A lot of DJs use it for the fx or just adding to their mix. (note repeat is awesome!)
you can control traktor or ableton with it then go back to step mode and vice versa.
producing wise it is unrivaled in its ability to have a cohesive workflow between hardware and software. Every button/knob/pad correlates somewhere in the software intuitively(less mouse clicking). the way the arrangement mode is setup makes it very easy to arrange loops into different patterns and scenes( a very different form of an arrangement view). VST/AU support makes it almost like a DAW.
The sampler function is huge for me. I use the sampler every day creating a ridiculous amount of loops that I can slice and alter.
all my drums and percussive elements come from maschine or are inspired from it
all this is great but it takes a great deal of time learning how to use it. Mostly I learned a lot from just messing around with it. Just letting it sit there makes it go to waste.
Also the expansions Vintage Heat and Transistor Punch are a necessary addition. the True School expansion Iāve heard is really awesome but it is geared towards hip hop more than EDM.
Many thnaks for the pointersā¦ iāll put them into practice
I think I want one. Probably would get one if I had the space:P

Jon Gurd & Bryan Chapman with their monster āSense Of Nothingā.
Jon Gurd, Bryan Chapman - Sense of Nothing (EDIT) by BryanChapman
Apparantly supported by a few minor league artists: Len Faki, Gary Beck, Alan Fitzpatrick, Slam, Alexi Delano, Sasha Carassi, etc
minor league artists? these are truly innovators in techno, i mean most of them have been at the top of their game for a while and the others are rising to complete stardom. hardly minor at all. Slam has been around for what like 20 years. Len Faki like 16.
Iām not hereā¦
my point exactly. they are not minor league artists. never seen sasha carassi so i wouldnt knowā¦
