I know everyone was buzzing about the new music future mag and the new SHM tune, it a huge tune at the moment and probably one of the better produced tunes out at the moment so i’m wondering if we should request a new updated HTSL SHM specifically covering this tune.
what do you guys think
No mate, we’ve already had a SHM tutorial. And a prog house tutorial. and and electro prog house tutorial. Surely we don’t need another one??
There’s something about those three that just doesn’t sit right with me.

we’ve also had trance, drum & bass, techno, dubstep more recently but it doesn’t stop people being interested in them.
its only a suggestion and at the end of the day what ever people decide what they want to have i’m always cool with.

what would you like to see then dude ?
I watched the FM video and a few other bits; their attitude toward what they do and the people that buy it seems to be bordering on taking the piss. It’s funny too that some of the Swedes on the other side of the coin that used to work prolifically with Henrik B are now publically slating him.

I just think out of all the genres that SA have done, prog house is the one that has been done the most.

Wouldn’t mind a psy trance tut. Know is been asked for before an there was a thread asking for a new trance tut recently. This might be a good one to do.

what’s that got to do with the music?
HTSL SHM would be great!
I suppose it depends on the person, then. Personally I wouldn’t entertain the idea of giving someone that holds me in contempt my money. It’s not like I’d buy their stuff or they have have any credibility, anyway so I’m not affected. I can’t get my head around anyone doing otherwise. To me they might as well be Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Manufacturers of lowest common denominator bull****.
Anyway, the track is basic as ****. It’s just a riff made up of different soft synths. Catchy as hell; yes, but there really isn’t a tutorial for writing catchy riffs. You’re on your own with that one. Personally I’d rather see tutorials of artits doing something slighly more challenging. If you watch the FM SHM video again, I think the basic message they try to get across is that any cunt could do this, you just need the money for external processing hardware to get it to sound “right”.

I wouldnt be mad for it either…
If you look at those FM Vids, they give a really good overview of parts of that sound.
Its been well established that they’re posers & gimps… The Music is well produced… but I would rather see something else tbh.
Plenty of suggestions of what could be next scattered all over the site… all equally deserving a chance.
No No No :hehe:

wouldn’t mind that at all
ok guys i obviously got that one wrong and many of you don’t want that as a tutorial.
oh well can’t win them all lol.
so long as its not dead genres we cover i’ll be happy would love to see more of the process tutorials.

That last Neolithic Cave Tut was really scraping it I thought…
This is the standard I’d go for. I’d love to hear some fuller tracks.
Can’t see a tutorial happening though

wow you said about my suggestion being too simple and ask for something with a bit more depth, something a bit more challenging to make and then you post that track which simply put couldn’t get much easier. at least what i suggested had something that sounded like it was produced this decade.
Now you’re talking out of your bangle.
edit: LOL.
edit: Get on it hero. I’d love to hear it. John Fisher > Adam Beyer.
